"Now
Harold, you know you like Mother..."

A Mother in Law Poem
-
MOTHER IN
LAW STORIES
Stomped.
Again - The day
that Harold got stomped. Again.
- Mother
in Law told Harold, "You'll always be wrong,
- It
you live to be a hundred, it's the same old song.
- You're
a total idiot, lacking both grit and wit,
- If
you had a brain, you'd take it out and play with it."
-
- Harold
sized up his Mother in Law's tongue,
- Gave
a stiff stare to her oversized lungs.
- After
a spell, he ended the uncomfortable lull,
- Saying,
"Mother, believe me, the feeling is mutual...."
