A Mother in Law Poem

MOTHER IN LAW STORIES

Stomped.  Again - The day that Harold got stomped. Again.

Mother in Law told Harold, "You'll always be wrong,
It you live to be a hundred, it's the same old song.
You're a total idiot, lacking both grit and wit,
If you had a brain, you'd take it out and play with it."
 
Harold sized up his Mother in Law's tongue,
Gave a stiff stare to her oversized lungs.
After a spell, he ended the uncomfortable lull,
Saying, "Mother, believe me, the feeling is mutual...."
