Generally, the first words that come out of 'Mother's' mouth when junior
or juniorette is born are, " Oh my...he/she looks just like MY CHILD."
It's very
difficult for a Mother harboring this type personality to acknowledge your part
in producing HER grandchildren. She may even talk about you to them as
they grow - but take heart! There is absolutely NOTHING that she can say
to make your child dislike you!
Your relationship
with your child is very special, just as her relationship with your child is
special. Your child isn't going to miss the way Grandmother mows down
Mommy with her long, sharp, vicious tongue.
So relax
and just keep watering those seeds.
